We offer violins as small as 1/8 size, manageable for a 5-year-old child. Violins are also easy to transport from home and school and offer opportunities for lasting social interaction as many children may go on to play in school or community orchestras. By starting lessons now, your child may be ready in a few years to join a group.

We understand that a quality instrument is very important for a beginning student. If the quality is not there, students won't see positive results and will likely become discouraged. We also don't think purchasing a child's first violin should break the bank.
