If your child is an aspiring "rock star," then there is probably no talking them into learning guitar on an acoustic instrument. Our electric guitar kit is designed especially for small fingers and bodies with a style and bright colors that kids will love. This Fender Stratocaster- style guitar has a very thin neck that makes it easy to learn on and a lighter body than any electric guitar we've seen. There's nothing "toy-like" about them. Amplifier is powered by a 9V battery or AC adapter (sold separately). Slip the amp strap over your shoulder and you're set to rock out anywhere, any time. No electricity necessary. (AGES 7-11)
